Chew Chew Bistro is available for day and evening functions. Offering a dedicated Functions menu that caters for both sit down or stand up affairs. Choose from a variety of spaces for your event including our Private dining room, main dining room, back platform street art deck or a combination of these. For intimate gatherings, our Private Dining Room is open to groups of 8 or more guests. A room charge of $100 applies for coffee and cake-only bookings. However for breakfast and lunch reservations , there is no room charge, provided each person orders at least one meal from either the standard menu or the functions menu if applicable. Please note that shared plates are not permitted. In the event that fewer than 8 members of the party attend, the reservation will be relocated to another table in the dining room, as we reserve the Private Dining Room according to the aformentioned guidelines.
For groups of 40 or over we offer a bespoke functions menu in place of our standard restaurant menu
For groups larger than 8, we kindly request a deposit of $5 per head to secure your booking.
To ensure a seamless dining experience, we require that all bills are settled in one transaction.
Regrettably, we are unable to accommodate split bills at this time.
Cancellations must be made no later than 1 week prior to the booking date if dining from our regular menu to qualify for a full refund of your deposit. Bookings cancelled after this time will be subject to forfeiture of the deposit. * In the case of the booking of a function where the menu has been designed from the functions menu two weeks notice is required.
Cancellations of bookings larger than 8 people for special occassion days such as Mothers Day and Fathers Day will require two weeks notice prior to cancellation.
