Here at The Shed, we thrive on stocking the most interesting and unique antique and vintage pieces because we believe that these items tell a story and have a soul. We love nothing more than to see a much loved piece find a new owner and go on to be enjoyed in a new home. Vintage items can add interest to an otherwise predictable interior and very often become talking pieces. We always try to find out as much history as we can on the stock arriving into the store so that we can pass this on to our customers. Often it’s the ‘story behind it’ that gives it more appeal and character and it’s what people fall in love with. We also believe that by selling these beautiful items, we are contributing to a more sustainable way of living , giving new life to older pieces, re using rather than throwing out. Antique pieces have so much to offer. We understand that original antiques are not for everyone, however, we with a bit of repurposing, antique items can suit all styles of homes.

At any given time, we could be stocking items that date all the way back to 3000 BC when the world was in black and white, all the way up to today.
